“Finding Father” is my personal journey and quest to answer questions surrounding the mysterious disappearance of my father in the winter of 1965. My dad was serving in Dachau, Germany with the U.S. Army, and was scheduled to fly back to the states to be with our family for Christmas. Two days before he was to leave, he turned up missing, and was found several weeks later outside of the base, dead in a stream of water.

The older I have gotten, the more I have found that the events that occurred on that infamous weekend in December, have profoundly affected my life in ways I would have never imagined. As I have endeavored to uncover clues that would lead me to the answers, I have come to discover not only how my father died, but also how he lived. And in the process have gained greater insight about myself, about life on this planet, and also the heart of the Heavenly Father.

Thank you for stumbling across this blog site, and If this is your first visit, I would encourage you to start your reading with the very first post and go from there.  You can find the link to the first post, and to the current post at the bottom of this page.  At the bottom of that post will be a link that will take you to the next post….enjoy the journey.

I would also welcome your comments and your feedback. Many of you have responded, whether it be from posted comments on this blog, or private messages to me, as to your own journeys with your own fathers. That feedback has certainly meant so much to me as I have been on this quest.

Thanks,

Ken Sausedo
